Premier Breeder & Exhibitor
The purpose of these awards is to encourage member participation in Alberta draft horse shows and to acknowledge the importance of promotion of the Percheron horse across Alberta. The Alberta Percheron Club will calculate the points for each show and the winners will be announced at the AGM in February of the following year.
The Alberta Percheron Club started these two annual awards in the 2012 show season. The Premier Breeder & Exhibitor Awards are based on a calculation of points collected from shows throughout the year. These shows include the Calgary Stampede, Lloyd Ex Fair, Vermilion Fair and the Alberta Percheron Club Foal Show. These points are divided into two categories:
Premier Breeder (registered breeder of a shown animal)
Premier Exhibitor (registered owner(s) of a shown animal)
